Global Positioning System (GPS) tracking device market is expected to reach USD 3.7 billion by 2023. However, the primary problem of the existing GPS tracker is a short battery lifetime that resulted in communication & tracking loss. The novelty of our product is end-to-end solution comprises SPO-GPS tracker device and its monitoring sytem. Our SPO-GPS tracker is unique from other existing products as it can harvest the energy from solar and piezoelectics designed by us. The GPS tracker information is sent via WiFi/GPRS to the cloud. The dashboard displays the coordinates, speed and battery level of the GPS tracker.
The key problem of the GPS tracker is a short battery lifetime that resulted in communication & tracking loss. The existing product that rely on the solar is unable to harvest the energy during dark and rainy days. Therefore, hybrid energy harvesting, solar and peizo, can boost the energy efficient to increase the operation of the GPS tracker.
