NANOBLAST™ is a nanobubbles generator made from carbon nanotubes (CNTs) which was synthesis via low-cost method from ground water sludge as catalyst. The diffuser is also blended with zeolite, an abundant natural aluminosilicate. Nanobubbles are referred as the spherical pockets of hydrophobic surface containing gas, with diameter of 50 to 500 nanometre, making nanobubbles practical in wastewater treatment and sanitation processes. The use of nanobubbles generators in small ponds and tanks for fishing purposes has been observed, and it could eliminate pollutants and pathogens from moist environments. This technology was patented in 2022 and licensed for commercialization to the UTM spin off company Pure Aims Technologies Sdn. Bhd. The product was also certified as NANOVerified / NanoTrust Product Verification by NANO Verify Malaysia.
Water pollution is a major environmental issue that is causing widespread concern. Textile and dyeing wastewater, pesticide, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical wastewater have all generated huge amounts of organic wastewater in various manufacturing plants. The major problem in synthesizing this study is sustaining oxygen levels for wastewater and livestock since both need efficient aeration. As iron is a very inexpensive and abundant metal in the earth's crust, its use as an active metal in heterogeneous catalysis is quite demanding. On the other hand, natural iron-based minerals are more readily available and less expensive, and they show tremendous promise in peroxide activation procedures for pollutant degradation due to their unique morphology and crystallinity. To boost oxygen levels and therefore solve the problem, it is an object of the present invention to provide a method of synthesizing a multi- natural iron-based minerals as catalysts.
Currently, the water aeration for the purpose of dissolve oxygen enrichment using nanobubbles grab the attention of many agricultural, aquacultural, F&B and wastewater treatment industries. Nanobubbles have several unique characteristics, including their small size, simplicity of release from tissue, and increased gas dissolving capacity, huge specific surface area and surface charges.
However, among all the nanobubbles technology, the low cost ceramic nanobubbles nozzles are more affordable. Thus, the low cost process of the nanobubble nozzle preparation by using nano-sized iron from groundwater sludge as a catalyst .
The invention of synthesizing the natural aluminosilicate or silica-MWCNTs via natural nano-sized iron catalyst from groundwater sludge could reduce almost 50% of the nanobubbles nozzle production cost.
Among all the nanobubbles products, the low cost and green processing nanobubbles nozzle from groundwater sludge will be the best solution for low cost and sustainable nanobubbles technologies. Comparing with another products such as S-Y35 Ultra Fine Nano Tech Bubble 35mm, JENECA Aquarium Nano Low Pressure/Nano Bubble Disk Air Stone, and LAIFLE Nanobubbles stone, the NANOBLAST nanobubbles generator is Suitable for air pump use, no high pressure needed -comes with a variety of sizes, fit for different size of usage – small and large scale of aquaculture, agriculture, and aquarium.
Nanobubbles have the potential to be a multibillion-dollar market, with significant implications for aquaculture, water treatment, hydroponics, and agriculture. Fish farming businesses all over the world drive the worldwide Nano-bubble generator market. Countries known for their fish output include the United States, China, the United Kingdom, the Philippines, Chile, and Thailand.
