Official data from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) shows that in 2020, a total of 378,582 tons of biodiesel were exported, worth RM1.35 billion. Malaysias biodiesel (palm oil) business will increase rapidly because of increased fuel consumption, the ongoing depletion of natural resources, and economic growth. Therefore, the biodiesel industry needs the raw material that is UCO to be processed as biodiesel in large quantity continuously. The need of continuous and large amount of UCO for the biodiesel processing is really vital and need a proper collecting methods.
This invention highlighted the smart kiosk which is solar powered and operated with the Oil2Wang mobile applications of registered users. The kiosk will accept the UCO inserted by registered users after the specific user scans his/her unique QR code to the kiosk scanning camera. Then, the UCO will be identified as genuine UCO base on the density, then being graded for the quality base on the free fatty acid (FFA) content identified by the FFA sensor inside the kiosk. Besides, the UCO inserted by users also will be measured based on the weight and lastly the payment for the recycled UCO will be made through online payment gateway.
The biodiesel industry needs the raw material that is UCO to be processed as biodiesel in large quantity continuously.
